A birthday gift

Birthday Buddy

May the Sparkle begin your day
Warm wishes be your tea
Hugs be your breakfast
Happy Birthday it is for thee :P

May you bath with chocolate syrup (ee..)
Dress-up nice with cake
Cheery friends make company
Laughter will get all glee

Do all your girl-like antics
Play all the kid you want
With your head tilted for the picture
Flash your smile like a wand.

On-the-rocks bumps to you
Spicy excitement in the air
Party harder than you should
Be as crazy as you could

Happy happy birthday
Had to rhyme it this way
Dance along as you chuckle
Sexy Aks, its your day !

Online regular

I wrote this in regard to a friend. It was worth the documentation.

My Smile Trigger

Someone I know
Is online everyday
A pop-up on my screen
Says so, regularly

That pop-up
Triggers a smile
Smile thinking about my friend
The perseverance, his passion..
The motive, his liking

One day, I hope
The pop-up stops
The my friend smiles
And smiles always ..
Always, with the pop-up by his side

Good luck to him
In gaining the smile
My message to him
Whatever might stay
A ping this side..
Shall trigger his smile :)

The Liberty Lady

I visited the Statue of Liberty a few days ago. I was somehow not able to convey my experience while talking to my parents, I thought why not try writing.
Here is the result.
-----------------------

The Liberty Lady

She stands tall, strong and staunch
Her face speaks her thoughts
Beyond our reach,  above us all
She holds the torch, Still in-spite of us all.

Her brain is her beauty
You feel privileged to be up there
Accomplished and satisfied
Yet safe, up there

The viens are visible, her age is not
Those windows don't open
Yet breathes she strong

As thick as two coins, her skin is thin
Yet thick-skinned she seems
Fighting all those winds

Climbing up her guts, you dare not look down
Look up if you might
Her length inspires us all

Someone felt uneasy, couldn't think she said
Yet I was all jolly,
climbing up the stairs

No knowledge did I have, none still do I
Copper she wears,
painted green with the blue.

I would have stayed there, all day long
But I thought I was intruding,
Right under her throne

Reaching down to the pedestal
You seem to have touched her feet
The dream is almost over
You are alone to face the breeze

Back on the way to the mainland, I bid her goodbye
She looked straight right at me, holding her books tight
All liberty I thought,  is in holding my books right.

Begin Again

I have written earlier, and write quite often. But, very rarely do I share it.
I thought lets give it a try :)
